INCONTROLUCE RESIdENCY
Mamadou Dioume storico artista della compagnia di Peter Brook, tra i grandi pedagoghi e attori teatrali, ha attivato a Ronzone e a Cles in Val di Non (Tn) dal 22 al 25 agosto l'edizione zero di INCONTROLUCE RESIdENCY. Una residenza artistica promossa da Spazio5 arte contemporanea che ha coinvolto artisti provenienti da diverse discipline espressive. Il tema del lavoro l'Antenato dei Sogni e della Memoria; residenza d’arte arricchita attraverso uno stage aperto su selezione.

The starting point of the residential project is the film "Incontroluce" by director Manuel Canelles, which is inspired by the autobiographical narrative of Lucia Andergassen, born in Val di Non in the '60s when, as an adult, she felt the need to recompose the flow of memories lost in time, activating a relationship with the descendants of a non-biological mother, who emigrated to the United States at the beginning of the last century. And it is Lucia herself who hosts the project in Ronzone as a testimony to the value of identity and the autobiographical path. The project is set up as a zero edition for a multidisciplinary artistic residency format, a bottom-up attempt without any form of public contribution and funding to requalify the artists' need to connect thoughts, establishing a common work pact, a new system of creative work, outside the logic of the system. The residency involves the elaboration of a final performance and the realization of a catalogue that includes through photographs, works, texts, the creative process and the various phases of the study. In addition to Manuel Canelles, among the artists involved also participates in the performer Silvia Morandi, musicians Silvio Gabardi and Anika Dobreff, the artist Nazario Zambaldi.
Punto di partenza del progetto residenziale è il film “Incontroluce” realizzato del regista Manuel Canelles, che si ispira al percorso di narrazione autobiografica di Lucia Andergassen, nata in Val di Non negli anni ’60 quando in età adulta sente il bisogno di ricomporre il flusso di ricordi smarriti nel tempo attivando una relazione anche con i discendenti di una madre non biologica, emigrati negli Stati Uniti agli inizi del secolo scorso. Ed è la stessa Lucia a ospitare il progetto a Ronzone a testimonianza del valore dell’identità e del percorso autobiografico. Il progetto è impostato come un’edizione zero per un format di residenza artistica multidisciplinare, un tentativo dal basso senza alcuna forma di contributo e finanziamento pubblico per riqualificare il bisogno degli artisti di connettere pensieri, stabilendo un patto di lavoro comune, un nuovo sistema di lavoro creativo, al di fuori delle logiche del sistema. La residenza prevede l’elaborazione di una performance finale e la realizzazione di un catalogo che comprenda attraverso fotografie, elaborati, testi, il processo creativo e le varie fasi dello studio. Oltre a Manuel Canelles, tra gli artisti coinvolti partecipa anche la performer Silvia Morandi, i musicisti Silvio Gabardi e Anika Dobreff, l’artista Nazario Zambaldi.

"In this sense, the format of an artistic residence - says the director Manuel Canelles - allows us to tell a reunited distance where space is not seen as a dividing place but as a territory of redemption and hope. Specifically, it invites the meeting between generations to learn about stories of places and people with a view to participation and community sharing. The workshop approach continues and invites people to search for new connections in the archive of their memories and acquire tools for integration and reading".
Mamadou Dioume: "I would like to work with the artists and the participants in the stage, on the meanings I noticed from the teaser of the film that Manuel Canelles is making, a strong connection between sounds, images, ancient photographs and spaces, as if Lucia Andergassen drew with full hands from nature. For this reason I would like to suggest that we work on the narrative starting from a story that has been told to each of us (and that each of us carries with us because it is necessary for terrestrial life) and is influencing us and one in which I have been or am the protagonist. And that's where we go on our dreams to trigger something underground and unconscious".
In questo senso il format di una residenza artistica – afferma il regista Manuel Canelles- permette di raccontare una distanza ricongiunta dove lo spazio non è visto come luogo divisorio ma come un territorio di riscatto e di speranza. Nello specifico invita l’incontro tra generazioni per conoscere storie di luoghi e persone in un’ottica di partecipazione e condivisione comunitaria. Prosegue l’approccio laboratoriale e invita le persone a ricercare nuove connessioni nell’archivio dei propri ricordi ed acquisire strumenti di integrazione e lettura»
Mamadou Dioume: «vorrei lavorare con gli artisti e con i partecipanti allo stage, sui significati Ho notato dal teaser del film che Manuel Canelles sta realizzando, un forte collegamento tra i suoni, le immagini, le fotografie antiche e gli spazi, come se Lucia Andergassen attingesse a piene mani dalla natura. Per questo motivo voglio suggerire di lavorare sulla narrazione partendo da una storia che a ognuno di noi è stata raccontata (e che ognuno porta con sé perché serve per la vita terrestre) e ci sta influenzando e una in cui sono stato o sono protagonista. Ed è lì che andiamo sui sogni per far scattare qualcosa di sotterraneo e di inconscio».
